MY LITTLE FAMILY

Welcomed this little addition to our family last May.

Our lives changed ever since and it has been a learning journey for us all!

Through the ups and downs, we are very thankful to have you in our lives, Tobias 💕

BKK(II) 2018

Back from Bangkok a week ago with Hans and his family - it was Elijah's first trip!
It was a very chillax and slow trip, most of our dinners were takeaway from nearby food stalls, yet its so heartwarming to have everyone together.
And I managed to get some small stuff for our future home, yay!
How cute is Elijah ~~

SYDNEY 2018

Long overdue post on the last trip to Sydney with my family in June.

Lots of new experiences gained from this trip - first time driving overseas (experiencing a small incident), seeing dolphins, road trips and many more.
Favourite part has got to be the drive to Blue Mountains and Jervis Bay, there's always something about nature that I can't explain, so captivating, so mesmerising.

Thankful for trips like these, although there were differing ideas along the way.

Slightly less than 3 weeks to Perth, more road trips and nature!
Can't wait 💙

JEROME'S CONVOCATION

Dearest brother graduated yesterday!
Felt like he's such a big boy now, achieving all the little milestones in his life.
#sisterbeingsister
Look at grandpa smiling so widely when we asked him to try on the cap!

Here's to 3 more months to Sydney with the same troop ✈

HANS'S 27TH

February has always been a busy month of events, and this one's definitely the most important.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAREST MAN!

We both settled for Niku Kappo yesterday's birthday dinner.
Work has been taking a toll on him recently, and sometimes i just want to find all sorts of reasons to drag him out of that office for a breather.
Most importantly, it's the time we spent together that matters.

& today, we celebrated with his family at Prego @ Fairmont Hotel.
Strongly believe he cherishes all the time he gets to spend with people he love.

Thank you for always being there, for being you.
Happy Birthday 💕

LUNAR NEW YEAR 2018

Thankful for the long weekend we got to spend more time with people we love this CNY without it being all of a rush.
Reunion luncheon/dinner with both sides grandparents on the eve.

Day one of the lunar new year we accompanied grandpa for the morning before visiting at paternal side, together with the cousins.
It's the 2nd year without grandma around and the emptiness is real, the vibe of the whole new year wasn't as jolly as it used to be.
Though our family is small, i'm still glad we have each other at least.

Day two Hans and i went visiting to his grandpa's, my granny's, then back with this relatives and cousins to end the night.
Always thankful for gatherings like these.

Day three (today) mum prepared steamboat for everyone, my favourite!
Mahjong is like a must for CNY so that was next.
Dinner we went to Hilda's place and it happens to be her birthday too!
Steamboat round 2 😍
And i love this picture of all of us ~

Here's hoping that 2018 will be smooth sailing for everyone of us, so much so much to look forward to this year.

BIRTHDAY II: FAMILY

Home cooked food are always the best, and Mum decided to whip up a meal for everyone.
Having all my loved ones with me on my actual day was probably the best I could ever ask.
No full family photo this year, but it's all good.
And mum took a photo for Hans & I, I just had to post it cos I loved it so much.
Jerome being Jerome here, exploring my new camera hehe.

While I was making my wish, I missed grandma exceptionally so.
She would always sit beside me when everyone sings the birthday song, and she would smile so gently at me.

Twenty-Five; and I am ready for whatever that comes my way,
For I know there are those who will stay with me, and there are those who I should let go.

GENTING '17

Went on a short holiday with Grandpa and Mum to Genting.
With the new mall up, I had a few agendas on hand I really want to do/try and I did!

i. Genting Premium Outlet - we took a cable car down and spend half a day there.
Though shops there are probably only 80% opened, everyone had loots back.

ii. Cheese tarts (!) - Okay this wasn't cheap, almost the same price as what Singapore is selling but I finally got to try the legit cheese tart!
It's really awesome, really.
I love the CRUST ~

iii. Gong Cha - Finally Gong Cha and not some Li Ho takeover. I had my favourite Earl Grey and it was so satisfying.

iv. Burgers & Lobsters - This was a big checklist this trip up! So much rave about this place and the queue was insane on our first day there.
Lunched in on the 3rd day, lucky for no queue, and look at how happy the both of them look hehe.
Three different types for us, and I love the Chilli one the best.

Didn't expect Genting to have such a drastic change, it's no longer like the boring old shopping I used to know.
Can't wait till the theme park is up, it's gonna be such a huge thing!
And there were still so much food I have yet to try - Italian Pizza, Coffee cafes, Korean BBQ, Japanese tatami BBQ, and the list goes on ~~~
The major takeaway from this trip - I got to spend time with my Grandpa.
Very thankful he's healthy, and that he's managing all the long walks we're taking.
❤❤

And today is Grandma's birthday.
Every year today, we will have a cake prepared for her, take away her favourite food, buy her what she likes.
Today she's no longer here, and I wished her silently inside my heart.

Happy birthday Grandma, I hope you're doing well, somewhere high up there.
I'm missing you badly, and I love you.

DADDY'S 50TH

Hosted Dad's 50th BBQ last Saturday at The Palette with all our family members and his closest friends over.
We were so glad that Dad enjoyed himself and just look at that wide smile on his face!
Thankful for everyone who played a part in everything and the preparation process was definitely an enjoyable one.
Honestly wished for more of such events, gatherings, where we could all just sit down and talk our hearts out, till late into the night.

Happy Birthday, Daddy ♥

JULY

It's mid month!
Caught Transformers: The Last Knight at MBS today with H, all thanks to Grandpa's free tickets.
This was supposed to be an awesome show but I guess I haven't recover from my post-HK-insufficient-sleep state, I missed at least a third of the show.
Oh, and that cup of coke cost $6 😓
It's probably our most expensive cup, E V E R.
Weather was so nice I just had to snap a photo while on our way to take a peak at the progress of our house.

Supper date with mom, bro and H at 555 Thai Villa.
It was a new found gem, and it's just beside the airport runway!
(Please just look at that face, this is the reason why I give in all to this bro of mine)
Tho pricey, the live band, food and ambiance was pretty good.

Off to catch some sleep of mine, I'm so so deprived.
