LAST JB FOR 2017

Exams are finally over and well, it was horrible.

At least it's over, for now. 

JB today with Hans as requested but the jam was literally no joke.

F I v e h o u r s - that's how long we were stuck!

Nonetheless, thank you so much for giving in to me and still agree to drive me in.

JWC must be our all time favourite, and their tiramisu never fails.

This short getaway meant so much to me, especially after a tough paper.

A busy 2 weeks coming up leading to Christmas then Hokkaido!

Super excited to see the snow and my Instagram's flooded with people in Japan haha.

HUSTLE AND BUSTLE

Have been busy the past week but it's all good!

Met up my favourite Tyler Mama (Wanyi) on Tuesday over Beauty in a Pot and honestly, i'm sold!

It was so good, and almost comparable if not, better than HDL 😍

Sometimes life doesn't go our way, and sometimes we try to find comfort in other things,

I only wish that things will be much smoother from now, and that i'll always have your back!

Wednesday was spent with the girls for Charmaine's birthday over Smoke & Mirrors.

Dined with a view for sure, and we kinda relieved our younger days, snapping selfies like no one's watching, as the sky went from bright to dark.

Been with these girls for more than 10 years, and sometimes I can't be more grateful to have them.

Finally it was the short week i was waiting for so so long!
Took a day off work and went on a road trip to JB with Hans.
We took things slow this time round, checked our errands while taking coffee breaks in between.
Visited this cafe - Eco Palladium, 
where it was said that Jay Chou filmed his MV here.
Not too sure which MV was that, but one thing for sure it's a good chill out place with no disturbance from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
Road trips to Malaysia were always made possible thanks to Hans, tho he loves to nag ~

And as busy as it is, I'm still thankful for the fruitful week.
To another long week, I'm ready for you.

GOOD FRIDAY

Cheers to the long weekend I finally got to rest.

Good Friday was fully utilised: Running in the morning followed by JB with H's parents.

Jam into JB was unimaginable. Traffic condition definitely did not improve towards the noon and we were caught for a good 2.5 hours.

The return trip was slightly better - 1.5 hours.

It was probably toughest on both H and his dad, lucky for them I managed to catch some sleep on the way back to prepare myself for class today. 

Sometimes I think H can read my mind. 

He is ever so well prepared when it comes to me.

We had porridge at my favourite Joo Chiat shop which was comforting enough to tide me through the 3 hours Tax lecture.

Towards the noon we literally combed every corner of MBS while passing time till 6 when we met his friends for dinner.

Artbox was crazily packed with people, we left 5 mins after seeing the crowd, not stalls.

& I realised I'm posting a little more often now, especially after I got my hands on this MacBook Air here.
It was one of the best decisions made, no regrets whatsoever, I truly enjoy doing my research, leisure readings, video watching and even listening to my classical hits while studying with it.

Super long and tiring 2 days, I'm gonna crash now.

JB with H for a day/birthday trip.

JWC never fail to disappoint, and we found a newly renovated place for our future shopping 😄

BINTAN RETREAT

Bintan retreat with the colleagues over the weekends!

Had a full body massage upon arrival and Kelong lunch afterwards.

Canopi was a beautiful resort and we really enjoyed the facilities - UTV, Mangrove tour, Water bumper boat, Water slide, E-Scooter ~

There were many firsts for me and it was truly an experience.

1 night felt like a few days probably because we maximise our time there.

& i love the chandelier of their room, so pretty, so captivating.

Really appreciate short breaks like these once in awhile, it made me forget all existing worries, and just have fun.

SHORT LIL LONG WEEKEND

🎥: Fantastic Beasts

Caught Fantastic Beasts with Hans on Saturday, lucky for free ticket we managed to watch at Gold Class 😁

For a non Harry Potter fan, i got to admit the show was good!

Maybe i should consider watching Harry Potter hmm.

Headed to JB on Sunday and was surprise there was no jam in the morning, it was definitely sign of a good start.
Summary of our food itinerary: Beef noodles - Cheesecake @ Uncle Tetsu - Coffee Run @ JWC - Seafood muchies - Noodles @ Ah Koong
Always love our coffee run at JWC The Factory, reason being - it's secluded most people won't really visit unless they drive - less crowded.
JPO seems like a must-visit these days, they always have attractive discounts you'll feel like everything is a must go.

& i had my specialist visit yesterday, thankful for Hans around.
Did the same scope which i really dislike, uncomfortable and bleh.
The only good news - nothing major 😊

Slightly less than a month's time to Japan.
Hello December in 1.5 days time.

LIL JB TRIP

 My much anticipated JB trip finally was here on Saturday!

Jam was terrible tho, a total of almost 6 hours spent to and fro.

Tried out some new food places on this trip, Seven Oaks (for their salted egg croissant!), beef soup, The Catch Seafood etc.

Not forgetting all our buys, got a new pair of Nike Kaishi, all prepped up for Japan!

& all credit goes to the man here, who never fails to accommodate to all my wants ~

Oh, a lil update on Crumb Bites:

We just gave out 4 boxes of Oreo cupcakes to our 4 lucky winners in this giveaway!

So glad everyone enjoyed them and we've gotten positive feed backs :)

On a side note, I love how the Kraft boxes blends in so well.

On sick leave for now so gonna rest up the next 2 days.

So glad the haze cleared up or it could have been worse.

DESARU TRIP

Went on a day trip to Desaru yesterday!

Breakfast was cheap and good, fruit farm was a lil disappointing, we couldn't find the crocodile farm but the ostrich farm was enriching.

Food on trips are the best!

Tho tiring but it was fun, always love weekends like these.

MONTH FIVE

Almost half a year passed and it's already the month of May!

It has been a super hectic week at work and this weekend was something I have been looking forward to for quite some time.

JB with Hans today (after so long yay!) and 1st stop was Faculty of Caffeine, savory for him and sweet for me.

Apart from the jam, i'm v glad he brought me in, it was a day of trouble-free and all i needed to do was eat and shop.

And speaking of which, my loots were awesome today!

2. Due for lease agreement signing coming week and i guess that's that :)

ADV BIRTHDAY

 Advance birthday celebration for myself with Hans yesterday and thank you for everything.

We had like 4 meals: Dimsum for breakfast, mini Seafood for lunch, Cafe for tea break and lastly the one i've been craving for so long, Grill Bar Steakhouse for my birthday dinner!

The steak was so awesome but we had a lil too much to handle haha.

Nonetheless, this road trip was somewhat different from the others and it made me feel really happy.

Down to a lil less than 2 weeks with you now..

I don't know how I'm gonna handle your absence even though I may sound like I can previously.

But let's have faith in us, both you & i, we will be able to i'm sure.
