TAX OUT

Happy to say that, T A X is O V E R!

I have started counting down to 1.15pm today since 2 days ago and I cannot be happier.
On my way to the exam venue this morning I had some severe tummy ache, goosebumps all over (it lasted from Raffles Place to Jurong East by the way) 😰
I thought I was gonna die (of anxiousness), on one hand I tell myself I can't fail (cos the school fees costs $2k+ haha), on the other I wasn't at all confident.

Thankful for this happy/annoying/lucky pill who kept me going all the way till before I went in the exam hall.
Now that exam is over, I have 3 months worth of freedom and it's time for a trip!

Counting down to 1 week before HK, 1 day to meeting my girls and 1 hour to meeting H.

So blessed. 

GOOD FRIDAY

Cheers to the long weekend I finally got to rest.

Good Friday was fully utilised: Running in the morning followed by JB with H's parents.

Jam into JB was unimaginable. Traffic condition definitely did not improve towards the noon and we were caught for a good 2.5 hours.

The return trip was slightly better - 1.5 hours.

It was probably toughest on both H and his dad, lucky for them I managed to catch some sleep on the way back to prepare myself for class today. 

Sometimes I think H can read my mind. 

He is ever so well prepared when it comes to me.

We had porridge at my favourite Joo Chiat shop which was comforting enough to tide me through the 3 hours Tax lecture.

Towards the noon we literally combed every corner of MBS while passing time till 6 when we met his friends for dinner.

Artbox was crazily packed with people, we left 5 mins after seeing the crowd, not stalls.

& I realised I'm posting a little more often now, especially after I got my hands on this MacBook Air here.
It was one of the best decisions made, no regrets whatsoever, I truly enjoy doing my research, leisure readings, video watching and even listening to my classical hits while studying with it.

Super long and tiring 2 days, I'm gonna crash now.

Exams are finally over, one down.

Can't wait for results to be released to know how i've fair, probably the first time feeling this way.

Anwy, brought Clover for her class today and was super amazed how well behaved she is now! Super proud of you :) 

My weekends never felt this chillax in a long while ~

Enjoyed every single moment of it, no regrets.

Oh, and today's granny's birthday!

Did this purple rosette layered with blueberry for her, one of her favourite colour and flavour!

Hope you're able to see it from up there, knowing that each and everyone of us here misses you, every minute of our lives.

PRE-EXAM

A totally unrelated photo but i can't wait for 2 more days already.

10 weeks of class passed by in a blink of an eye and i'm already down to 2 more days before sitting for the deciding paper.

Though this was a "test-water-paper" to begin with (and i have never liked theory papers), unknowingly, secretly, i hope i can pass this and continue my route to be a CA.

Nervous & stress; 

probably the best words to describe my feelings the past few days.

Can't wait for my mini freedom for now.

So many plans i have in mind till the end of year and i can't wait to realise all of them already!

(Let's just pray i don't get into any more trouble)

August, i'm ready.

DAY 194

Barossa with the girls for Charmaine's 24th last night. 

Food was good, company better.

It felt like ages ever since we last met, but now that Jas has joined me at work, i believe everything will be better (:

Weekdays are oh-so-ever-tiring.

I can't wait for August, cos it will be my mini freedom!

At least no books for a month.

There are so many things i wanna do!

For now, hang in there for 3 more weeks.

SATURDAY

 Saturday's finally here, was looking forward to it though it didn't turn out too well to start the day.

All is good i guess, just hope it'll be etched deeply in my mind.

Clover was being naughty today again, and one new thing happened, her tooth dropped!

You're growing up too fast Clover ~

Oh, Hans and i collected one of the popular home baker cupcakes today: Nasi Lemak cupcakes!

Was so tempted by the name of it i had to try some.

 Unique as it sounds, the taste was pretty interesting too!

Lucky for the 1-for-1 promo i got it at a decent price.

It then got me thinking how i can also cater to the local taste hmmmm.

On a side note, Crumb Bites has launched a new bake today!

The classic Pandan Layer Cake, and responses were good too!

School has been pretty much the same, counting down (not) to one more month before exams.

Truth is, i'm pretty scared.

No backing out from here, i can only pass this.

Grandpa is recovering well but i think i jeopardized his healing process when i offered him the Nasi Lemak cupcake earlier.

The sambal inside got him coughing again, which made me REALLY guilty :( 

Sincerely hope he'll recover soon, and that Grandma will watch over him from above.

(Miss you a lot too Grandma, thanks for letting me dream of you the other day :') )

W E E K E N D S

So yesterday, I accompanied Hans to school and waited for him.

Going to school never felt so good and I must say I really miss my schooling days.

Kinda wish I was still studying now >:

Lucky for my lappy I was able to sit there for hours.

Went to Pasarbella after that and the pork serving we had was really delish!

(Just that it was a lil pricey)

Explored the place and I think we have kinda decided on where we'll celebrate my birthday hehe.

& it was bro's book out day!

Toughest part of BMT was finally over for him yay yay.

Felt kinda sad when we sent him back to camp but owells!

Back to work tomorrow

LAST OF MARCH

This marks the last week of march for me.

Haha yesss food post, though studying hasn't been that easy but at least these cheered me up a lil.

Had Thai food w the family @ JB Premium Outlet last sunday! So much misses for bkk cos it tasted so alike!

Then had Ramen Champion w Hans for lunch during one of our study dates @ the airport. We really run out of food to eat T.T

& met up with the 'long lost' friend Haocheng for brunch after my 6 hours lesson in school (yes its a sunday).

More meet ups after my finals for sure! 

Just some lil updates recently so at least i know my life isn't THAT boring haha. 

Okay, back to school and books tomorrow..

GALLOPING AWAY

Studied in school as usual and the whole studying/chionging process seems to be a lil tiring already.

Hans drove us to Bukit Timah Saddle Club to see the horses & cheered me up a lil.

The horses looked so carefree, envious ~ 

Okay back to the books and that's to one more day till a short short break.

mini catch up date

Super busy with school work lately I think I'm gonna grow so much older very soon.

Studied in school as per normal (except for the fact that I actually stayed in school till 10pm since 830am and was like a living zombie today).

Oh, Hans & I had coincidentally wore the same colour top to school and I guessed it attracted quite abit of attention (oops, but why don't people stare at those couple who wears white or black).

Nihon Mura buffet with Carol, Terry and his girlf for dinner and was glad it wasn't awkward <:

Which means thats to more meet ups soon!

Meanwhile I gotta work really hard cos of the super tight and busy schedule I'll be having very soon >:

Full (ok half) study day in school today.

Fassler after study and yay to sashimi + homecook food all whipped up by my talented boyf! 

Oh and ikea after class yesterday with some ice cream to chase the moody-cramps day away <:

Company dinner buffet tomorrow with the crew @ buffet town and can't wait for all the yummy sashimi waiting for me hehehe! 

Can't believe its already 11th jan and how time really passes by so so dam fast.

Worry & anxiety are slowly crawling up as the exam dates get nearer and nearer.

 School on a cold Saturday as per normal and always glad to have Marissa in class w me hehe.

Studied for abit after class before going for late lunch with Hans @ one of my favourite cheap & good Italian restaurant, Saizeriya!

Had so many satisfying dishes I will definitely go back for moreeeeee <:

M'sia one day trip tomorrow and can't wait.

Even though its nothing new & nothing special, I just need a mini short getaway.

yesterday

Felt like some super long day yesterday.

Got up @ 4am to send my grandparents off then home to sleep till 830am before pulling myself out again and thankful for dad's lift to the airport (again in the same day) to study.

Had some awesome breakfast and before long I was mentally drained with information overloaded up my brains.

Dinner @ Lagoon w daddy & bro and that was when I could take my mind off CF a lil.

Oh and I caught this super old school rocking horse I used to ride when I was just a lil kid near my grandparents place.
I still remember how the coin slots are also so different from those nowadays!

Time to prepare for my noon paper later.
I could finally count down to the last paper cos the numbers are now down to single digit!

back to school

Headed back to school for some self study today and I guess this will be one of the last before Sep school term commence.
Definitely thankful for Hans who is willing to drive all the way there if not I don't even think I'll be so hardworking to travel alllll the way to Clementi to study.
Really an enjoyable day cos studying wasn't purely about books and notes but also a lot on laughter with Cas, Kate and QS!
Settled dinner @ Saizeriya (yes again cos I simply love it there!) due to random cravings of mine and yes I'm happy hehe.

Alright study time and 10 more days to go ~

Its treat from the boy today due to the super stressed up me after my 1st most confident yet sucky paper >;)

This whole exam and studying now is making me so tired that I can hardly breathe and break down any moment soon.

Omg 11 more days I can't wait till freedom ~

Happy Labour's Day and HAPPY 3RD ANNIVERSARY HANS!

Had our 'temporary' anni dinner @ Astons last night after mugging for the whole afternoon.

Temporary cos we have one Jap buffet waiting for us to end our exams and go enjoy hehe.

Feeling so happy already <:

Last lesson of the school year today and I think I will miss having classes.

Well that's better than exams no matter what right?

Studied in school for the whole day before meeting the parents for dinner!

Intro them to this XO Fish Head @ Dover and when we were there I realise the stall owner is our regular customer, just like what dad & mum guessed!

It was pretty good and I enjoyed every dish esp the fish soup, got the strong XO taste <:

11 more days to my 1st paper and I'm getting a lil worried yet sick of studying now.
But still, back to the books!
