HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

The long awaited long weekends are finally here (but I can't believe its actually ending while I'm typing this 😔)
Had 3 straight days of class with Saturday morning being the last of this week, quite a fruitful one though.
Brought the little one out on Sunday after catching FF8 (👍) to Punggol settlement.
And every time we are out with Clover, I can't help but always notice how passer-by look and exclaim "Omg it's a Corgi!" - so cute.
That's probably our view in 3 years' time, can't wait.

Today marks our 7th year together!
Suggested to H that maybe we should lunch at Soup Restaurant cos that's where we first dine at 7 years back, reminisces yes.
Wanted to stroll along the broad walk but it was way, way too hot.
It didn't felt like 7 years have passed, we've been through so much to be at where we are today.
Thank you for everything you have done for me.
I can only look forward to many many more 7 years with you.

EVERY LIL THING

If I need to choose a day I love best, Saturdays will be the one.
Caught Tahir's graduation performance today and we were glad we could be of some support to him.
Uniqlo is probably one shop that allows both H and I to shop for stuff, together. I fell in love with their apparels not too long ago, so comfy, so easy to match.
Brought the little one to Coastal Settlement and we settled for some munchies.

This is the 1st selfie we have! 👆

I found myself being blessed with so many things in life recently, slow but yes.

Ever so grateful for H to always pick me up after my lessons on Friday nights, bringing me for supper cos he knows I won't have proper dinner prior to that.
At times he choose to spend his Saturday waiting for me to finish lesson while he roamed around aimlessly.
Sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve such a person in my life.

There are just so many things in life we tend to miss out, and choose to focus on those that we don't have. I am guilty for this, and I'm not afraid to admit.
Just wanna thank this soul that has stuck by me the past 7 years, always holding on to me like no one (maybe except my mum & granny who's watching over me) ever will.
I find myself falling in love with him all over again, every single day, and I'm not afraid to let him know.
So much to look forward to together, and I'm glad it's you I have with me.

WEEK 14

Weekends were pretty much fulfilling.
Spent Saturday catching up a little on studies, researching here and there on the upcoming trips, play time with Clover and dinner with H's family.
Getting a bit greedier these days when it comes to time with H.
I always say 'Anywhere is fine as long as i'm with you' but subconsciously i was demanding more.
Think i should keep my words towards him from now on.
Appreciate more, demand less.

Sunday was rather simple.
Breakfast with grandpa and mum followed by some errands running, studying (while searching for flights - i never get bored of this), dinner.
Grandpa was tempted to visit Manila after i showed him my travel pictures.
Yesterday was the second time he prompted the question - i think we should go.
Travel dates are the issue now due to all our various work obligations.
Please come to an agreement soon!

On a side note, my Instagram's flooded with Tokyo's cherry blossom, everyone is in Tokyo!
Can't wait for Osaka already ~~~

Just a little on Crumb Bites here.
Business is slowing down A LOT but i've got to confess i haven't been very active lately too.
Brought in some new cake toppers and candles some time back and i finally found the time to snap it yesterday.

It's all about GOLD & SILVER.

We also have a new bake coming up on Instagram soon!

WALK . RUN . WEEKENDS

Brought Clover out on Saturday for a walk when our initial plan was to go trekking.
The rain got us trapped for nearly half an hour when we were at the park.
On a side note, thanks to the rain i was able to capture the moment when this little girl was so shy yet wanting to approach Clover, she ended up waving 'hello' to Clover.

And when i came in office this morning, i was thinking to myself - A week ago today i am still sleeping in Manila
:(

11 more weeks to exams
12 more weeks to the next holiday

Wishing for a better weather this Saturday ~

WEEK 11

March has been pretty of a rocky hill.
Nonetheless, weekends were always made better when i'm with H.
& just last Sunday, the girls and i had steamboat lunch over at Charm's.
- How can 3 girls have steamboat, it's so neither here nor there.
There you go.
Visited the container houses over at Punggol (Tebing lane i think) and this was the view we got while having our binggsu.
Here's one from Clover to kick start the week.
Counting down to 4 more days till my next holiday 🚀

WEEK 49

☕: Stateland Cafe

Met up with these 2 over Stateland on Saturday, kinda glad to know everyone has their own route sorted out, just a matter of time before things fall into place.
On a side note, Stateland was 👍, first time there and i love their toast!

Afterwards it was some time with Hans & soccer.
Was so fascinated by the Snapchat's effects (call me slow) and here's one of them.
And this little one never fails to get all excited when she sees me, leaving so many scratch marks on my thigh as a sign of welcoming.
Well, i'm giving credit to her cuteness so i'll accept that!
Then it was Sunday's wedding date with Caly at ParkRoyal.
Seeing people getting married makes me want to too (oops), but nope, i'm sticking to the plan.
Thank you for having me as your date haha.

Counting down to less than 3 weeks now to Japan!
And while i'm typing this, i could feel the butterflies in my stomach.
All the clothes to bring - checked, passport - checked, humans - checked.
We're left with the last bit of tidying up the itinerary, purchasing of a few tickets and we're ready to go!
A much needed break.

RV + CONEY

It's finally the weekends again.
RV Café at airport with Hans for brunch before bringing this little one out for some walk.
Their wagyu beef burg was good!
And at Coney Island, this little one tends to walk near to the water.
Verdict for the day: Clover likes the sea.
Or maybe.
Either way, she had fun though was quite tiring for her.

It's been half a year since Grandma was gone, and now, it could be my great aunt..
This was a rough year, visiting the hospital so frequently and hearing stories of people leaving us.
Only hope the remaining 4 months will be good.

GEM

And yes!
Exams are finally over, one down.
Can't wait for results to be released to know how i've fair, probably the first time feeling this way.
Anwy, brought Clover for her class today and was super amazed how well behaved she is now! Super proud of you :)

My weekends never felt this chillax in a long while ~
Enjoyed every single moment of it, no regrets.

Oh, and today's granny's birthday!
Did this purple rosette layered with blueberry for her, one of her favourite colour and flavour!
Hope you're able to see it from up there, knowing that each and everyone of us here misses you, every minute of our lives.

WEEK 17

Weekends went pretty alright.
The Huntsman: Winter's War on Friday with Hans, my kind of show haha but thought there could be more fighting scenes.

Met Charm & Jas on Sat and it's always great seeing them.
All the best for your 1st flight Jas!
And Charm & Kang visited Clover, as usual, she got all excited and starting biting everyone.
But she's still the cute Corgi pups now hehe.

The last weekend was dessert overdose.
2 days straight of cakes but the choices available tempts me to bake more.

I can't wait for the weekends already, seriously.
Need a break from all the hoo-ha going on.

Less is more.

FAVOURITE DAY OF THE WEEK

She's about to fall asleep here
So glad the weekends came.
Bro & Caly went over to visit Clover on Saturday and tho she couldn't stop biting cos she's teething, it was really a joy being around with her.
And look at that cute face there hehe.
Was all so excited about Ah Bong's Italian but Hans and I left in disappointment.
I've read all the positive reviews online but it turned out to be so-so, we probably caught them on a wrong day.
And dinner with the girls!
The long due meetup with them over tze char and Yong He was (Y)
Oh and i accomplished one new thing: i managed to parallel park in one try! Woo ~~
(But nearly got into an accident the next day, okay let's skip that)

It's Monday now and i can't wait for the weekends already.
The Huntsman's this Sat whoop!

MID-MONTH

Graduate lo!
Attended Hans's graduation (super proud of him) last Friday, he looked so cool on stage, seriously.
But it was kinda nerve wrecking for me to be seated right at the front with the higher ups of SIM.
Nonetheless, i was happy i got to witness it so clearly right in front of me <:

Oh, and meet the new Corgi of the Quahs, Clover!
She's super adorable and so petite, so huggable.
Less that she has the tendency to bite these days.
But still, welcome Clover!
Everyone will love you hehe.
