MID MONTH

June was pretty much a fulfilling month.

From mugging for my paper, to settling new accounts at work, travelling to Hong Kong, and catching up with friends.

Had Box n Sticks with the usuals on Wednesday, and met up with Syariah & Anna just this evening over PasarBella.

It's always nice knowing how friends around me are getting their BTOs, settling down with their partners, and how all these little steps allow them to grow together with their other half as a person.

While some others talk about work, stress levels, and finding new jobs.

And yes, Night Owl Cinematic: Food King came to Poh Cheu just yesterday!

Ryan told my mum he has been eating our kueh since secondary school and yesterday, they were there to film for next Friday's YouTube video.

Can't wait to see how many stars we are rated by them :)

Half a year is down in a blink of an eye.

Think back what I have achieved and sometimes I hope time could pass just a little faster.

So many things the future Jared wants to achieve and experience.

I can't wait. 

WEEK 49

☕: Stateland Cafe

 Met up with these 2 over Stateland on Saturday, kinda glad to know everyone has their own route sorted out, just a matter of time before things fall into place.

On a side note, Stateland was 👍, first time there and i love their toast!

Afterwards it was some time with Hans & soccer.
Was so fascinated by the Snapchat's effects (call me slow) and here's one of them.
 And this little one never fails to get all excited when she sees me, leaving so many scratch marks on my thigh as a sign of welcoming.
Well, i'm giving credit to her cuteness so i'll accept that!

Then it was Sunday's wedding date with Caly at ParkRoyal.
Seeing people getting married makes me want to too (oops), but nope, i'm sticking to the plan.
Thank you for having me as your date haha.

Counting down to less than 3 weeks now to Japan!
And while i'm typing this, i could feel the butterflies in my stomach.
All the clothes to bring - checked, passport - checked, humans - checked.
We're left with the last bit of tidying up the itinerary, purchasing of a few tickets and we're ready to go!
A much needed break.

SEPTEMBER

So September as here.

Celebrated the September babies' birthday with the office people at The Lab SG.

Then for Jas's birthday with Charmaine at L'Entrecôte.

Just glad that Jas is happy :)

And my Saturday started off well at Chin Mee Chin.

Our first time there and I hope not the last cos their food was fresh and good.

My cravings was satisfied again :)

Well, this week wasn't exactly a good nor smooth sailing one.

Fell sick at the beginning of the week, and work was bad.

Had to deal with really rude people and work is piling up like nobody's business.

Hopefully I'm able to clear as much work as I can come this week.

Week 2, please be good to me.

DAY 182

Had some rest at home the past 2 days.

I must say these rest days were really precious! And i was glad i utilized it well.

Managed to catch up on my studies for now went out on my errands running as well as finally having a chance to pick Hans up after his work :D

Punggol for dinner (cos it was rare i got the car!) beside the sea and we got to experience how it will be like at home 4 years from now.

(*excited!*)

Half the year came to a close, that was really quick.

Grandma has been away from us for 4 full months now, how time flies.

I still cry in bed missing her these days.

Anyw, just a really quick update on Crumb Bites!

Grateful for all the support i've been receiving and happy to say that i've got more customers now!

Gonna be packed with orders the next couple of weeks then it will be exams.

Until then, i'm gonna lie low with my promotions.

Come August i've some things planned out, so stay with me, whoever's reading this ;)

MONTH SIX BABIES

Celebrated the office's June babies birthdays over at The Royals Steakhouse.

Food was good, ambiance was cosy, definitely made the right choice for a Friday treat.

Night class later on followed by X-Men (!), probably the only thing I look forward to now ~

Grandma's 100th day coming up this Sunday, how time flies.

It's been 3 months since she's gone but I still feel her existence at home each and every day, it's like as tho she has went somewhere far and yet to return home.

I miss you Grandma, and I hope you're doing well somewhere, watching over all of us.

KRAVE

Met up with work peeps together with our long missed Anna.

Krave for lunch followed by Twenty Grammes for dessert (Y)

Lucky for Vesak in-lieu tomorrow I'm able to be up this late.

FEBRUARY

 Hello Feburary,

A month has passed and how time flies, without me knowing what i have achieved the past month. 

Decisions after decisions to be made, and considerations after considerations. 

Aside from all these, had dinner at Vineyard with Hans last night and it feels nice to have a romantic (i would say) dinner once in awhile, well not so very often but, once in awhile. 

Though it's been quite some time we are together but the things that lie ahead of us are not gonna be easy, that's for sure. And sometimes, i really don't know how i should be conquering all these. 

[In need of some guidence]

 Oh, and HBS had a mini chalet over the weekends at Changi CSC.

View was scenic, company was awesome!

And it did took my mind off all the stuff that's ongoing around me.

Only ask for things to fall in place smoothly.

Here's to a great start into the second month of the year.

WEEK 46

Birthday week both in office at home.

Celebrated our office’s last birthday baby’s birthday, tho the surprise wasn’t a big one, all of us still hope she enjoyed herself!

And and, yesterday was the brother’s big day! Big 21^st <:

He decided not to have a big party so all of us tried our ways to make it such that he still has a decent 21^st, somewhat a party setup.

Regardless, glad he enjoyed and here’s to a step into adulthood for him!

WEEK 41

 Office party on Friday for our moving in which actually happened about a month ago.

With a lil contribution from everyone, the food was (Y)

 & fruit basket today was a success!

TWENTY THIRD

So the office bunch planned a surprise on my birthday, which really left me surprised in tears (of joy).

Can't ever thank them enough especially my v trusty partner in office ;>

Back at home, mum baked this very special Lychee Martini cake for me! How pretty it is ~

& so the deal was, Hans planned a surprise for me alongside w my brother which left me touched to tears again. 

Thank you for knowing what I love and even go that extra mile to bring it to me thou you can't be physically here w me. 

This 23rd is a special one which I'll probably not forget in a long while, and I realize who are those that really cared. 

Thank you guys for sticking around w me, I'm blessed ❤️

EMOTIONS

 Over at work last week, we celebrated the June babies' birthdays with a surprise even our boss didn't expected, it was a success. 

Well work has been pretty much the same, with me going over everyday not really knowing what's the aim I have or should have. 

& over the weekends, I've tried out several types of pastries (as you all know I'm starting an online bakery) and definitely, there were major setbacks which kinda struck me hard.

Perfectionist; that's what Hans always use to describe me, and slowly, I realise I'm unknowingly becoming one. 

We fall, and we learn, it is easier said than done and to me, that's even more true. 

For now, I just can't wait for my getaway, which I really need it so much so much. 

& for sure, this perfectionist in me will have to be a little more discreet now. 

OFFICE PERKS

 Work's been a lil cray with all the good food around these days!

First was llaollao with the colleagues (where we went out for 1 hour during office hours just to get that), then the ultimate Dominos during lunch today!

& its Ding Tai Feng with Hans after work today (double goodness in a day)

Much crave for these and we really enjoyed ~

Half the fried rice were gone cos we thought the xlb was gonna take a long time and we were so hungry ;/

Regardless, I always enjoyed the time I had with this boy.

DECEMBER

A lil late, hello december.

Some lil update on work.

Been kinda busy lately with work slowly pilling up.

But sometimes, lil gestures like this can really make the whole tiredness worth it.

Received this box of chocolates from one of the clients and it means so much.
