BKK(II) 2018

Back from Bangkok a week ago with Hans and his family - it was Elijah's first trip!
It was a very chillax and slow trip, most of our dinners were takeaway from nearby food stalls, yet its so heartwarming to have everyone together.
And I managed to get some small stuff for our future home, yay!
How cute is Elijah ~~

PERTH 2018

Came back from a short trip to Perth with Hans last night, Perth was nothing short of amazing.
We covered a number of POI, and the views were super stunning.

- Saw the picturesque view of Bunbury city from the lookout
- Caught the sunset at Busselton Jetty
- Sunrise and cold breeze at Surfer's point
- Saw the incredibly clear water of the Indian Ocean
- An experience at horse riding with The Humble Horse
- Wine tasting at Leeuwin Estate
- Striking view at Sugarloaf Rocks

In particular, I love the breakfast in Margaret River!
The pastries at MR Bakery was thumbs up, probably my best meal ~
Nonetheless the meals we had in Perth was equally good, and the hospitality we received from people in Perth has been good too.
Weather was definitely amazing, I would die for winter travels!
Definitely beg to differ if anyone says Perth was a boring city.

Oh
And I'm engaged!
Just reliving the moment at Surfer's Point is enough to bring tears to my eyes again (No drama)
Love you, Hans

SYDNEY 2018

Long overdue post on the last trip to Sydney with my family in June.

Lots of new experiences gained from this trip - first time driving overseas (experiencing a small incident), seeing dolphins, road trips and many more.
Favourite part has got to be the drive to Blue Mountains and Jervis Bay, there's always something about nature that I can't explain, so captivating, so mesmerising.

Thankful for trips like these, although there were differing ideas along the way.

Slightly less than 3 weeks to Perth, more road trips and nature!
Can't wait 💙

HONG KONG 2018: GIRLS TRIP

It was finally our girls trips after 13 years! And this time, travel dates were gotten right hehe.
Checked off Cha Chan Teng on our 1st day after getting recommendation from our hotel management, trying to blend in with the locals.
Shopping for the rest of the day and concluded with steamboattttt ~

The next day we relieved our childhood at Disneyland, the place all of us really looked forward to!
A little pity the fireworks were called off due to renovation going on.
There was this little girl who was so engrossed watching Mickey floating on the water at the entrance of the park, how cute!
We decided to get the Mickey headbands and not get judged.

Third day was a ferry trip to Lamma Island, where we escaped from the hustle and bustle of the city life for a few hours.
Though we did not discover much from this small island, it was nonetheless a good experience.

& here's a little more of Hong Kong favourites from my album.

It's always good to be travelling and through that, learning to appreciate the culture and trying to blend in with the locals.
Truly blessed to have such opportunities and fortunate enough to travel with good companions.

And focus now: Exams that's due in a month's time and Sydney in 5 weeks!

BANGKOK 2018

Back from the long awaited short escapade to Bangkok with Hans.
On the day of our departure, we checked out SORA @ T2 and it was awesome.
Since they have various stalls, we got to select food from our favourite and mine has got to be Tendon Kohaku!
By the time we arrived it has past midnight, thankful for the automated system for SG passport we managed to skip the hour plus queue.

The next day we headed straight for Hans's tailoring.
Due to the long weekend, BKK was flooded with Singaporeans, they are everywhere!
After we were done with lunch, massage was up next on the must-do list.
We selected full body massage and boy it was good!
I was never into massages as personally I'm afraid it would be ticklish and my tolerance level of pain is zero, but this was worth it.

Day 2 we checked out The Mocking Tales which Hans found on Eatigo, we got the deal at 50% off our bill!
This place was amazing, food + experience + ambiance all checked.
The melting volcano was probably the highlight, and we really enjoyed ourselves.
A little more shopping after that, but there wasn't much stuff to get at malls like Platinum, probably we have all grown out of it.
More massages today, and it doesn't seem to be enough.

We finally managed to queue for the Soi 19 Wanton Mee after 2 mornings with no luck due to the crazy queue.
After more tailor fittings, we went to Aubergine, a French cuisine and another place Hans found on Eatigo (this app is awesome).
Totally love this place, everything was on point and words can't describe the unforgettable experience we had.

It was supposed to be Onsen Day but Mother Nature decides to visit me on this fateful day so we gave that a skip and went for more shopping + massage.
I was dreading a little to head back the next day ~

Glad we got a good flight timing back to SG that leave us with sufficient time on our day of departure.
Oh and I got these photos printed at one of the malls in BKK, they are only $2!

Thankful for a safe trip and today happens to be our 8th year together.
For always staying by my side, thank you and happy anniversary Hans.
