First year of CNY without granny around, we used to walk to her with two oranges, thinking of at least 5 blessing phrases to say to her while she sat on the red sofa smiling happily as she welcomed us.
This year was a huge change for us, no oranges for everyone, grandpa heading to MBS as usual (but without her), thankful for uncle, aunty and mum who accompanied him.
So all black this CNY - Day 1 with TB grandparents and the cousins.
This year we also learnt a lot more, understand how people perceived life to be and how each and everyone of us has matured over the years.
Day 2 we managed to visit Uncle Elvin's new house - he was hosting a housewarming party cum CNY visiting, his house was so nice!
Accompanied Hans and his mum for visiting too.
Concluded the day with the family then to Hans's place.
Day 3 we had a mini steamboat at my place.
Visited a few more places before the day ended off at Hans's sis place.
Tho there wasn't much festive vibes, but at least it brought people together, giving us an opportunity to sit down with the people we love and finding out more about them.
February's gonna be a short month, with more than half my calendar marked with stuff.
