DAY 182

Had some rest at home the past 2 days.

I must say these rest days were really precious! And i was glad i utilized it well.

Managed to catch up on my studies for now went out on my errands running as well as finally having a chance to pick Hans up after his work :D

Punggol for dinner (cos it was rare i got the car!) beside the sea and we got to experience how it will be like at home 4 years from now.

(*excited!*)

Half the year came to a close, that was really quick.

Grandma has been away from us for 4 full months now, how time flies.

I still cry in bed missing her these days.

Anyw, just a really quick update on Crumb Bites!

Grateful for all the support i've been receiving and happy to say that i've got more customers now!

Gonna be packed with orders the next couple of weeks then it will be exams.

Until then, i'm gonna lie low with my promotions.

Come August i've some things planned out, so stay with me, whoever's reading this ;)

SATURDAY

 Saturday's finally here, was looking forward to it though it didn't turn out too well to start the day.

All is good i guess, just hope it'll be etched deeply in my mind.

Clover was being naughty today again, and one new thing happened, her tooth dropped!

You're growing up too fast Clover ~

Oh, Hans and i collected one of the popular home baker cupcakes today: Nasi Lemak cupcakes!

Was so tempted by the name of it i had to try some.

 Unique as it sounds, the taste was pretty interesting too!

Lucky for the 1-for-1 promo i got it at a decent price.

It then got me thinking how i can also cater to the local taste hmmmm.

On a side note, Crumb Bites has launched a new bake today!

The classic Pandan Layer Cake, and responses were good too!

School has been pretty much the same, counting down (not) to one more month before exams.

Truth is, i'm pretty scared.

No backing out from here, i can only pass this.

Grandpa is recovering well but i think i jeopardized his healing process when i offered him the Nasi Lemak cupcake earlier.

The sambal inside got him coughing again, which made me REALLY guilty :( 

Sincerely hope he'll recover soon, and that Grandma will watch over him from above.

(Miss you a lot too Grandma, thanks for letting me dream of you the other day :') )

LesMis next week and am looking forward!

ALL IS WELL

Genting trip was cut short cos Grandpa was suspected of Pneumonia.

His coughing got everyone worried while we were there but glad now all is fine after rushing back to SG to get him treated.

We can always go on another trip but nothing can be compared to his health for sure.

Thank you for being so ever strong Grandpa.

POPS DAY

The oh-so-ever precious weekends were finally here!

Cannot emphasize how much they meant to me recently.

Apart from studying, I managed to meet up with MJ kakis (but no photo this time around) over Swee Choon.

Informative session haha.

Sunday was well spent with the parents & Hans, & of course the naughty Clover.

At work now clearing up some work before I depart for my well-deserve break tonight!

Will still miss here but I need a short break for now.

And not forgetting, LesMis in early July!

ANNA'S 21ST

Weekends are so ever precious, especially recently.

Steamboat with Hans's family and holiday planning with mine.

Yesterday we attended Anna's 21st and saw how blessed and loved she was by people around here.

It was so heartwarming (:

I can't wait to travel again.

MONTH SIX BABIES

Celebrated the office's June babies birthdays over at The Royals Steakhouse.

Food was good, ambiance was cosy, definitely made the right choice for a Friday treat.

Night class later on followed by X-Men (!), probably the only thing I look forward to now ~

Grandma's 100th day coming up this Sunday, how time flies.

It's been 3 months since she's gone but I still feel her existence at home each and every day, it's like as tho she has went somewhere far and yet to return home.

I miss you Grandma, and I hope you're doing well somewhere, watching over all of us.

JUNE

 It's mid month in the blink of an eye.

Some decisions made, some progression in life i guess.

Had our monthsary dinner at Gin Khao tonight and it was great, tho a bit pricey.

Studies started for now and let's see how it goes.

Oh, and there's some progression for Crumb Bites too!

1. There will be new launch this week (2 Bakes!) and one of them is Durian cake below
